A new range of projectors and printers intended for home users and small to mid-sized businesses has been unveiled by Epson. The launch introduces the Lifestudio projector series, next-generation EcoTank printers for home and business, and the Epson Creative Corner online platform.

The company has collaborated with internationally recognised artist Shakira, to promote an image of creativity and self-expression.

“With our latest suite of solutions including Lifestudio projectors, EcoTank printers, and the Creative Corner platform, we are empowering individuals and businesses to unlock their potential. This integrated ecosystem is designed to deliver professional-quality results, immersive experiences, and creative expression,” said Epson South Africa regional sales director .

The Lifestudio projector series is engineered to deliver an immersive home entertainment experience and includes the portable models, EF-61, EF-71 and EF-72, designed for flexibility. The units feature a compact design and AutoFocus Pro to facilitate quick-and-easy setup, and include sound by Bose and built-in Google TV. The portable range is complemented by Lifestudio Grand LS670 and Lifestudio Grand Plus LS970 ultra-short throw projectors that create a 4K PRO-UHD cinematic-scale picture of up to 150 inches, designed to replace the traditional television.

The new EcoTank Business printers are intended to help small and mid-sized organisations reduce total cost of ownership. The company asserts that the printers can cut printing costs by up to 90% and that the use of high-capacity refillable ink tanks and its heat-free technology enables a reduction in energy consumption of 96% compared to laser printers. In addition, the company says that fast print speeds and enterprise-ready connectivity help ensure minimal interruptions for peak efficiency, offering high productivity, long-term reliability, and environmental consideration.

The EcoTank Home printers are said to combine premium printing quality with a compact, space-saving design, featuring high-capacity ink tanks that hold the equivalent of 79 cartridges. Epson affirms that this enables long-term maintenance-free printing and a reduction in printing costs of up to 90% compared to cartridge printers. The company’s heat-free technology is designed to ensure reliability and energy-efficiency, with mobile control enabled through the Epson Smart Panel app.

Epson's Creative Corner is an online platform offering a selection of downloadable and printable templates, available in multiple languages including English, French, Arabic and Turkish.
